They're saying that the VF won't come out until 2010? 4 years is a long time to go between models! (that is, unless they introduce a VE Series II or something)

I know, but still, at least they introduced new models and stuff (even if some of them were SIIs with minor updates). I'd expect them to have the VE platform for just as long, tbh.

well thats a pretty weird way of looking at it, whilst they were the same A pillar to C pillar, they still had some serious changes and different looks to make them fresh and go with the current trends. and 6 different motors
they will do the same with the ve, whilst they might not use the same platform for 4 models there will be one or two maybe even 3 "facelifts" in the models life

I actually don't mind it. The headlights I'm not to sure about though. It looks ok imo.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car

I have seen some other ones..
This is the rear, Can't find the front, But am looking into it.. Different then the OP's link.
that looks like a sv6 with no wing and a ssv number plate
aparrently the ve being built from when the sportswagon was released is unoffically the ve series 2. This is because the omega now comes with alloys as standard and a few extra goodies. there is your minor upgrade now for the major one.
the cgi's going around also look a bit ford focus like.
