Looks good, should give you and the family plenty of enjoyment.
Atleast you didn't get a Mercury (aka Black anchors, couldn't get rid of the couple I had quick enough, spent more time getting repaired then used)

Very nice boat. haines hunter have a very good name![]()
lol when we did that we had to buy a new bloody car coz the old VS exec tranny just couldnt handle the weight, and as ive said on many other threads about the wagon when your towing that sort of weight you understand the value of Cross Trac compared to a normal variant.
and with a 27 degree day today and 29 degrees predicted for tomorrow we're heading out for the post winter but pre summer cleanout run along the river tomorrow morning before V8 Supercars are on TV!!!
Cant wait!!!!!!!!
Nice mate. The Haines Hunter will serve you well. My uncle had one and foolishly sold it because of his wife wanting a holiday. Was the most reliable and stable boat he ever had.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
HaHa, Nah I would have bought a 7 mtr Cabin type fishing boat if it was all fo me........
I was almost signing papers for a Brand new Haines Signature, But once I spotted this baby, I was Hooked, Just a better finish, More attractive, and heaps more room than a signature, Things like quality Gauges, better layout, and 6 Stainless inbuild Beer holders...well...that was it...lol..
The best bit, is that this Boat sells for $48900 Brand new, mine is a demo Boat, with 30hrs...I saved 15 Grand.......Crazy!!

Hahahaha, but it's probably the best time to have bought it man, summer isn't far off!
If the trailer is setup right (good brakes, right weight distribution) shouldn't have any drama's with it. Few years back, used to tow a boat/trailer setup that weighed 1900kg with a VS sedan. Never had any really drama's with that except once when everything was loaded into the front of the boat.

CXCXCXCCXCX If you use the Charger to tow a boat from a saltwater ramp I will personally come down there and Turkey Slap U !
HAHA!!! Just Kiddin, Go the mighty Charger!
To the original poster... nice family boat mate! But as stated, not the best choice for a fishing boat!
Enjoy!
mate good choice. haines make a great boat, and they last aswell. the four stroke is also a sensible option, drink less fuel, more reliable and once they are going, they go beautifully.
Thanks a Lot everyone, i am wrapped, Can't wait...lol... I havn't been this excited since i was a bout 10 at Christmas eve...lol...
