Same thing happened in Canberra. I went for a drive to get dinner last night and said to the missus that the car was filthy and needed a wash because you could see all the dust on the window when you used the wipers. I hate owning a black car

We had it bad out here as well on Saturday, my car was parked under the carport so i didn't have the rain spots but sunday morning, got to my car and it wasn't the usual fine layer of dust... it was like someone had sprinkled the dust on my car with a sive (spelling?) and there was mounds of dust on the windcreen, fingerprints were more apparent and where dirt was blowing over the bonnet's ridges it had gathered...I wasn't mad though, I was impressed!

When I first drove the car in the morning I could see I was leaving a dusty trail which was pretty cool too

    I'll second that FTW!!

I love driving to work with:

    A) No frost or melted frost all over my windows and mirrors

    B) With a bloody clean car when everyone else's has copped what the VY copped in the OP

Gotta love double lock up garages.

Got the dust storm here to, on sat/sun, not good when your trying to paint panels and need the door open to let paint fumes out.
My car now has mud built up from the spoiler. Havent had a dust storm like this in a while.

    its a vz sheesh lol.

we have a 1 car garage and a roofed car port, with three cars at our place, my dad does rostered shift so there's 2 nights a week the shed is empty, i choose to have the car port full time rather than risk my car not being under cover for two shed nights a week lol.

my car is usually clean enough under the roof, just had a fair bit of rain lately

Not when you have derro drug addicts trying to steal your stuff

My car only got dirty from when it was driven in the rain, if it wasn't for that it would be clean.
