Rolled VE from sundays V8 supercars at the Island

Hahahaha, it was a half decent roll too, good to see their welding skills on the rear and front passenger doors are good though

The entire shell is twisted so they will probally salvage whatever running gear they can and dump it into a new body and make whatever money they can by selling the body parts.

Actually I'd be very suprised if the cage is twisted at all. As spectacular as the crash was, I would have expected more damage. You will be suprised what those cars can take. Lowndes crash in the VT (?) where he skidded down the main straight at Calder on his lid before rolling along the top of the concrete fence didn't move the cage at all. The body of the car was just mashed into it. HRT at the time were tossing up weather to put new clothes on the cage or start from scratch. From memory I think they just accellerated production of another shell that was already in production at Dencar. 10 years on and these cars are bared out far more than the VT ever was.

Anyway - I think you will see this car running again in a few weeks.

yep its the PR2 chassis although its now kitted up to look like a VZ (last time I heard anyway)

Their in for one hell of a fight with Bathurst less then 3 weeks away ...
