What was the police presence like this year compared to last year ?


Hopefully it was a little less over the top given that a lot of the infrastructure and numbers from last year were directly from the APEC summit

there were around the same cops but alot better attitude then last year, for example the police didnt even check our car going into max cameron.

was a good 5 days of bourban burnouts and grid girls

Cheers, this year was the first year in ages we weren't camping up top of the mountain so great to hear they weren't as over the top as last year

Cops were ass holes. The day time cops were great, had a laugh with us and wernt too serious, but as soon as the 5 oclock shift hit, wernt even allowed to smile without getting looks from them.
I nearly got locked in the cage, I got a full official warning, name and address and license and everythiong taken down in there black book and did a search on my history and what not, knob heads.

They wernt any where near as strict getting in and out of the place though, could have easily got HEAPS more slabs in than allowed

Yeah thats charlie, he's bee doing it for 20+ years, last yeah it was him, and my mate pete was the one in the gorilla suit. This year pete had the worst haircut ever, and i pained him blue and red.

The 888 fags didnt show, they said they were going to come on the friday arvo. They did a lap in a little buggy and some in a car but never stopped.
There manager or somthing along those lines did though, he was a decent bloke
