wife wants a set of wheels, what would be decent? a 2006 year mazda 2 or a 2006 holden viva?
is there anything thats better or worse on each one?
buy the 2 for sure, the viva is a re badged Daewoo and is up there with the worst. The 2 on the other hand is very well built and also very versatile. I had a 2 for a couple of weeks when we had SP23 in for work and it was great. All of this information will be backed up with some research. DON'T BUY VIVA![]()
family own a mazda 2, we all enjoy driving it, cheap to maintain and service and hasnt had a problem in two years. btw its the Maxx model with semi-auto.
ok my mind is now made up thanks.
i work at holden, and i would by the mazda no question about it. F you viva. F you.
1996 VSII Calais 5.0L V8Here
Mazda 2, What do you think your not on a Mazda forum,, Like we are going to say Viva
.
Actually i know a girl that bought one, Bullet proof almost 2 years., Soft arse tranny, Soft arse Suspension, Gutless engine but runs fine, IF you just want a run around it's fine, But if you wont your moneys worth Mazda 2..

Buy a mazda 2 mate, the new Genki (sp?) 4door is great, heaps of room considering
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
Mazda 2 every time. They feel so much more solid than the Vivas do. Very reliable little cars and fun to drive on a twisty road! You couldn't pay me enough to drive a Viva though.
Whoever said 'There is no substitute for cubes' had obviously never heard of Jet power
heres another option
toyota
sis bought an echo in 2003 500kays on the clock 3 dr manual with air unwanted prize $12400 when the new drive away price was $14900
just sold it
96K on the clock just under 5 years old
4 months rego left
original tyres still on rear with plenty of life left , fronts were replaced at some time
original brakes still had heaps of meat left
had regular oil changes
dad put a set of plugs in the other day
car was immaculate in and out , never smashed or dented
exellent on fuel 600K plus per tank
sold for $9K
replaced with a Yaris unwanted prize $14K
toyota is always an easily sellable car , dads been through a few hyundais and trying to sell them when only a couple of years old and immaculate has always been a headache
other option is parents bought a new swift, they go well, handle well , fully loaded power everything and abs and good on fuel 6-6.5l/100
don't get a swift!
dont get a holden or gm car at all worst mistake i ever made, shouldnt have crashed my bike
