GSP bearing hubs! - RECALL FOR VR-VZ COMMODORES
hey was at me local holden dealer and was just wondering what prices the front hubs were...so i asked and he said not to buy any GSP brand ones ATM, as (he showed me the form) they just got a e-mail with a product recall for all GSP bearing hubs. Because some guy was driving down the street and the bearing just exploded (1 week after fitting) so he took it back and they said it was nothing to do with them (the place he brought it from) cause he fitted them himself. So he went and contacted some place that does the safety rating thing (forget the name) and it turns out that GSP is not Australia approved (there made in china) now he said this only affects the bearing hubs made after june??? 2007 i think. regardless of if there abs or irs or normal hubs.
in other words if you are unsure on teh brand and when they were made go get it checked....it is free of charge (suppose ably) and can be taken to pedders as there supposed to replace them (if found to be the effected ones) free of charge

on another note at holden the bearing hubs are $304 for ABS ones....which for holden ain't bad i guess....still ****ing dear compared to the older type 15 doller bearing that the earlier modles used lol
