Car Jacking

Hey everyone, just thought i'd let you all know that i nearly got car jacked last night around the homebush area.

I pulled up behind a car and the driver was staring at me in his rear view mirror, i didnt think anything of it then they pulled up next to me as i was driving and started jockying and swearing at me so i sped up to get away and turned off that road, thinking they werent following i turned around to go back where i was meant to go and they were coming down the road after me. I pulled up at some lights and they pulled up next to me and one guy got out so i took off around the corner. About 5 mins later i pulled up at another set of lights waiting to turn right and they pulled up behind me. 3 people got out of the car and I quickly locked my door and put my window up and my brother (who was in the passenger seat) did the same thing. All 3 of them came up to my car and tried opening the doors then started yelling and swearing at me to get out of the car then they started punching the windows and kicking the doors, as soon as the lights changed and it was clear i took off.

I have been to the police and they are coming out tomorrow to get prints off my window. The car they used was a blue astra with green Ps, i didnt get the number plate but it was the ones with the white background and black letters and numbers. There were 3 guys all of Middle Eastern appearance (i'm not trying to be racist or anything for anyone that wants to try to be a hero, i'm just describing what happened so that it hopefully doesnt happen to others).

I talked to a mate today who is a cop and he said that its becoming more common for groups of people to do that to steal cars and also crash into the back of someone then steal the car, and unfortunatly commodores are pretty high up on their lists. So everyone be careful and call 000 straight away if you think its going to happen to you.

When we were driving next to each other i looked over at them cos i could tell they were looking at me (and yes all three of them were) then they just starting yelling stuff like "what you looking at" "pull over and we'll see what ur looking at" dumb ass **** like that.

yea dude, the cops said the best thing you can do is stay in your car as its alot safer than gettin out not knowing who they are or what they're like. They also said it was lucky they didnt have a knife or gun as thats gettin more popular too.

Ive had idiots do that to me too, just passangers swearing going "what u lookin at?!" but i got away from them at a set of lights.... makes u think what could of happened.

Had a JC member telling me a similar thing happened to them after a car swap/sale. First thing you do is get rego, 2nd thing is call police while you keep driving or if you have a passenger have them call.

Unfortunately these scum bags think we are still living in a war torn 3rd world **** hole. The quicker these mongrels are shot dead and buried the quicker this country can move forward.

Call the cops and keep driving around, all the while telling the cops where you are on the phone while they close in...

Speeding, running lights, being on the phone etc are probably going to be acceptable to cops if they believe you legitimately feared for your safety.

All u can do in that situation is call the cops & give a description of the vehicle & occupants.

A guy I work with was calling the cops while driving because there was a car accident, a cop drove past while he was on the phone and fined him, didnt care why he was on phone.

why did you wait for the lights to turn green? why didnt you just check if traffic was clear and get out of there? no offence to you whitevrboi and i know you would have been in a pannic at the time but getting their number plate should be the first thing you should get after you realize your in danger.

i kwo someone here in adelaide had a guy jump in at lights punched him pretty bad then made him drive to atm withdraw cash then make him drive 400 k's to out back (local know place full of aborigines) (no offence to anyone) and then let him drive back all beaten up
cops got them in the end and not much was done about it
