sydney photographer - putting the call out

Hey all,

before I go contacting "outsiders" i thought I'd put the call out for any sydney JC member whose handy with a camera to step forward.

JCCC NSW needs a photographer for their track day at Oran Park in Jan 2009, nothing special, just someone with a hi res camera to take some action shots.

You will be rewarded with a free lunch and of course paid for your time I'm sure we can also come to agreement to sell the photos to the attendees and give a percentage of the profit to Darren as a donation to JC!

If your interested please let me know, otherwise I will be looking at paying someone to take photos.

Have a talk to Cousin Slow Poke, just tell him you want his shots slightly under exposed so noise isn't added to dark areas when reducing exposure

Check out my Muscle Car Masters photos taken at Eastern Creek and then let me know if you want me to do it... As minux has already pointed out, I will be going for 1 or 2 stops under exposed in future and a slower shutter speed which will blur the backgrounds.

I use a Canon EOS 40D with Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM lens.

(remember, photobucket lowers the quality of pictures significantly)

I personally liked that the background wasnt blurred, but I guess others might not, still the shots you got were awesome for the Muscle Car Muster!

Easy enough to blur the background or go for fully sharp images... It's basically a shutter speed setting.

The Muscle Car Masters was my first outing with the new lens too - so I was happy with the results.
