I've done a bit of storm chasing myself over the years Love some of those shots you've got there. I always sucked at catching lightning ^_^ Well done The turbulence underneath those first few shots is amazing.

That is an EPIC shot, also hardly any chasers photograph lightning, they use HD vide recorders and extract the frames they want.

I do it, except i dont have a HD video camera

I hope I don't sound stupid or whatever but what exactly is a storm spotter with the weather bureau? Like are you one of their employees and they pay you to take photos or is this just a volunteer hobby type thing?
