Just thought i'd start this thread so we can all get a load off our minds...

Please read this post before you jump to conclusions.

Everyone gets annoyed at some point in their driving lives at something that keeps happening or re-occuring to them. Here you can post what annoys you most about things that happen whilst your driving, whilst your parked or even things that happen to your car whilst your asleep in bed.

Now these things can range from - Neighbours that leave overspray on your paintwork. To rats sleeping in your engine bay at night.

Easy one, Going onto a roundabout, Your 3/4 the way around, 2 cars decide they are going to take off and get in front of you when your only 5 meters from them.
You can see it in there eyes they are going for it, Worst thing is as they do they always slow right in front of you.

I think since we removed the give way to right hand turning cars, The manners on our roads have dropped. Mind a shocking rule, But it made people aware and stop. Today it's can i beat you to the red light first.

My little pet hate that happens to me time and time again, is i generally wait to get into a faster speed zone before i speed up and i also slow down just slightly before entering a slower speed zone. In eiter case stupid people behind me wont wait 2 seconds and try to overtake me.
The worst is coming to a faster zone cause they go to overtake, then i speed up to the said speed and they are left sitting beside me in the other lane and look at me like im the arsehole for speeding up. Fck them and all they stand for.. I feel angry again now, stupid thread

bahahah lol my pet hates are mercedes drivers and public transport...you always get stuck behind them doing at least 10 k's under the limit and there's always a line of traffic that you can't merge into in the other lane...

Hmmm, a number of offenders here.

1.Idiots who hog the fast lane.
2. Idiots who charge into roundabouts, because their traffic has the flow in its favour, even though you have already entered the roundabout from another direction ahead of them.
3. Phone bandits - nit-wits who continue to jabber on their hand-held phones despite all the laws and fines they risk. (seems to be more common with wome than blokes, but that's just my perception)
4. Probably tailgaters get my guernsey as the greatest source of aggro. A***holes who need to sniff my exhaust fumes. Get so close that you can't see their headlights in the mirror. Often young females, and when they eventually get past, as they always seem to, yep, red bloody "p" plate hanging of their car. No, not a P Plate bashing thread, but the attitude of young females drivers these days seems to be "up yours", worse than the young blokes.

I hope the female members of the forum dont get the impression that I am a mysoginist (ie hate women). I don't - married one once (still together after nearly 30 years). It's just that they seem to be overly represented amongs the dip***ts on the roads these days.

ye i know how u feel m8, i love it (actually HATE it) when u r wanting to merge onto south road... or any major road, in a truck, there is ONE car for miles around, and he doesnt merge over to let you in- making you wait there for him to crawl past, and forcing you to find all of your gears again, and try to get back up to speed again. And most of the time, they are doing 10-even 20k's under the limit, and i'm in a single axle tipper with a load of dirt on! and i'm faster?! lol

My major hate is Taxi drivers, you'll be driving along (behind a taxi) and all of a suddon they slam their brakes on when someone yells out taxi. The amount of times it's happened while were working (in the garbage truck) and surprisingly never rammed up any a**, came close one time .

Next would be impatient and obnoxious drivers, same as what System said (about people not giving way to a truck), as well as people that cut in front, pull out of streets without looking, many times we have hit people that pull out without looking properly. One time (only 3 weeks ago) we were about to do a U-turn and on our left was a car park and a lady pulled out of it and sat right next to us, her nose was virtually touching the side of the truck, and what happens....We turn and smash the front of her car, and she blames US for not giving way to her :| there are some dumb people on the road...

What irritates me is 4WD mum speeding through the school zone with her own kids in the car who go to a different school while she talks gossip with her friends on the hand helb mobile (i'm sure your stay at home mum discussions are of the utmost importance that you can break the law ), and its usually the same gits who tailgate you and cut you off (without looking it would seem), and also take up both lanes and going 10km/h under coz they drunk or on drugs or something. peak hour sucks lol

female p plate drivers, asian drivers, taxi drivers, old people and anyone in a 4cyl (hatch/sedan doesn't matter your all hopeless)

what gets me the most though is dead****s who are not confident...you know the ones...the twits that come to a complete stop at every corner and do 3 checks before taking off onto a 20km long straight sit on 20km/h around corners, take 3 weeks to change lanes

another thing the annoyes me is people who insist on taking off from lights and seeing their engine go over no more then 1000 rpm grrrrr ffs it's not going to kill your car getting up to speed a little quicker...especailly hate it when you get caught behind someone who does this and then you get caught at 3 sets of lights because they took their sweet ass time if the missus wasn't in the car that wanker would have got an awful earful last night...wasn't happy getting stuck at 3 sets of lights because some wanker has all the time in the world....i just don't understand that if your not interested in getting anywhere anytime soon MOVE THE **** OUT OF EVERYONES WAY!!!! your not in no rush so pull the **** over and stop ****ing everyone off!....female p platers and asians are the worst for this...hell even old ladies know how to put the foot in properly

Seriously, People who **** with L-platers caus they have nothing better to do. GROW THE **** UP!!!

Well... what really ticks me off is asian drivers!!!!! sometimes I wonder how they got their license!! haha.
1. They just change lanes without looking, 2. drive at the slowest pace ever, 3. can't park, 4. at a give way sign they stop! then I go cause it's free and don't know wat the hell theyre doing then they go at the same time! WTF.

I hate people that don't take pride in their own cars or others cars! at shopping centres I hate people that can't park between the lines! or people that take up 2 parks! Hate people that hit your car and just go without saying anything!

Hate people that don't follow the road rules!! There's road works at the end of the freeway and it drops down to 80 then 60 (from 100) and everyone seems to fly through them and I just set cruise control on for slightly over 60 and watch people get ****ed. I haven't been pulled over nor had a speeding fine for almost 2 years now and not going to speed because some morons don't care about the workers on the road!

idiots who park right on corners! pretty sure there is a law stating that you must be at least 10m form any corner!! been so tempted to call them in but know nothing will happen grr

stupid parents who let their kids play on the road just up from a blind corner...i hope i hit one of these kids one day to send a harsh message that the road isn't a play ground...almost every afternoon i come around this bend there is some kid SITTING in the middle of the road! i'd have to say allot of the above are the things that **** me off too.

However here is my little list

People who indicate AFTER changing lanes or entereing a turning a lane

People who hear a commodore with a nice exhaust and INSIST on dragging off at the lights, only to sit below the speed limit, so when you casually start cruising past them AT the speed limit they put pedal to the metal and fly into the distance again, it's like good one tosser your in front, you win WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Drivers that slip in and out of lanes **** me too, pick a lane, preferably the left unless you need to turn off on the right, and frigen stay there for longer then 20 seconds, WAS THAT HARD?

People who insist on giving the finger and swearing at L / P platers when they make a small mistake and give the "i'm sorry" wave everyone stuffs up and i've seen some young drivers cop it bad for little things.

Assholes who speed up for overtaking lanes, then slow down afterwards, or the ****wits that are in front of you when you enter the overtaking strip, that wont merge back to the left untill you do after you both overtake the even slower car in front of both of you, so after "blocking" your overtake they sit 10k below the limit after the overtaking strip anyway.

Ok here's mine

#1 people who drive small and usualy underpowered cars like those Hyudia Getz's ect , who sit right on ur ass (i cruze at 110 on the main highway so its not like i'm impeeding trafic or anything yeah) n then try to overtake you when there is either a on coming veicle or when ur going up a big ass hill then they sudenly realise that they don't have enough
POWER to follow through with it .


#2 Guys who cruse around town with the seats reclined so far back that they can only just see over the stearing wheel and think that they are the sh!t

#3 And finaly ***c witts who have no courtesy for other drivers and i hope that someday those people get T boned by a big truck or something .
