lmao... english teacher used to make us watch kath n kim on friday arvo's.

mind you none of us watched it, we were all to excited thinking about the nice underage drinking the weekend had in store for us =D

It's pure crap IMO. I have never met an Aussie female who talks or acts like either one of them. And if i did, i'd walk away laughing my ass off.

Pathetic show, hated it.
Heaps of ppl i know said how awesome it was, so i chucked it on one night, and turned it off 10 minutes later, it was shocking. Not even funny
That was ages ago though, but i doubt it had gotten any better

I spent three days in hospital 2 weeks ago, paintball incident. Portable dvd player, smart move. I was bored out of my brain.

Never got the hang of Kath and Kim, I find Jewish American shows like Seinfield and Will and Grace extremely funny tho :0 and all English Commedy also

Well, after a car accident on Saturday I was left to spend some alone time in the hospital for a few days while i recovered.

Friend of mine bought in a portable dvd player and a few various dvd's as what was on the TV just sucked and the downside of private hospitals is a private room. Anyways, one of the DVD's they bought in was a Kath and Kim dvd, having run out of movies to watch I thought, what the hell, surely it can't be that bad if it is so popular.

What a big mistake that was...I failed to see any of the humour, in fact, it made me frustrated at how stupid it was. I find it hard that Australians actualy find this show funny, has the nation really dumbed down so much as to enjoy a stereotypical bogan TV show?

Could somebody please tell me why this is so popular? It was seriously brain numbing, so much so that I decided it would be more fun to lie in my uncomfortable hospital bed and stare at the roof.

Well it depends why you were in hospital. If you were doing something stupid, then Kath and Kim was there as punishment for you. Like karma saying "well you f**ked up, but didnt die, so this dvd will have you suffer."

Or if it was just an unfortunate accident, the dvd is there to remind you to be more careful so that you dont have to go back to hospital and watch more horrid Kaff N Kem.

But i will admit, i do enjoy going to Fountain Gate and taking the **** out of the locals based on that show
