Slow down then usually at the next intersection i floor it and get to the speed limit as fast as i can then when they catch up, slow down again

my dad turns his lights on so it looks like he is braking. myself, i either tap the brakes to warn them or drive real slow to annoy them. pushing doesn't get you anywhere.

usually I'll either a) stamp the brakes a few times until the offendee overtakes or b) drop my speed and set cruise control and just let them sit there until they get sick of it and overtake me lol

I've known my mother to shift over as far left as possible (e.g. so she is in the gravel on the road side) and spray rocks all over the offending vehicle lol obviously this doesn't work well in the city...

once on the way to work some tool in a baby car was tailing me. I accidentally waited till the last minute to change lanes to go round someone who was wating to turn. there was no room for him to change so he had to jump on the anchors and throw the anchor out the window. so much smoke from such small tyres

Who cares if a topic has already been covered?

When I get home from work and my gf says "how was your day?" I don't reply with "covered that topic yesterday so don't start a new discussion on it".

This is The Pub. And AFAIK, any pub I have been to has people talking about the same stuff all the time!

Won't go into too much detail, but me and a friend were "driving" home from work one morning (about 4am) he was in his 96 Ford XR6 and me in my VP, going down Pasco Vale road (heading towards broady, just before the Bell st freeway entrance) I was in the left lane, friend in right, and some guy decided to sit up my friends arse, it go to the 3 lanes and I went in left, and friend went to right, and the guy went to go in the middle but there was already someone there so he came over and sat behind me, to which I litterly HALVED my speed...He flew into the middle lane (this time he was in front of the other person) and began saying words I can repeat as I couldn't hear him

90% of the time I ignore them, people do it in the hope they can make you go faster or get you out of the way, 99% of the time I sit right on the speed limit, the 1% it's wet or foggy.

Though every now and then i'll lock all four wheels up if i'm having a real bad week, or swerve to avoid things that dont exist, then watch them swerve nothing at all, but mostly if I do do something I just let me feet have a rest as the car starts coasting towards a stop, if/when the decide to go around I let them, if it gets too slow for me, I speed up again.

Depends on what I'm driving, conditions of the road. Just grab a gear or two down, big compression brake usually does the trick. But if it's slippery/wet, not the wisest of moves, risk of compression lock or them nailing the brakes and skidding off (don't mind scaring the **** out of them, but not one for causing accidents)

Well clearly the patrons of the pub(s) you frequent are droll and boring, incapable of finding new and interesting topics.. but then you do live in Canberra
