Wow, great to see Vic Police cannot afford to put on more Police officers yet they can afford nice cars and escorts to a massive gang of criminals.

    Nice work Vicpol.

Loooooool it looks like that racing class where they race in Mini comic versions of Commodores and Falcons. At least it would stand out on the road. Hey look at that stupid looking car :P OH must be the cops

The whole car is pure sex, after I finished a test drive I was in love, unfortunately because of my size there is no way in hell I can use it as an everyday car else that lil sex machine would be in my garage

I don't see what everyone is laughing about - that car would make a fantasic versatile pursuit / highway patrol car and it will keep up with just about anything on the road. Remember when all the cops were getting WRX's because they couldn't keep up with ram-raiders in WRX's? Those EVOs are very capable in low-traction environments and is pretty much idiot-proof in terms of handling - I bet it gets crashed less than an SS pursuit car, and probably uses less fuel too.

Sure, it looks different to the average Falcadore police car but it's clearly not intended to be an undercover car. Good choice, I reckon.

Now trialling the Hummers - THAT is a stupid idea. They are a rubbish vehicle from the ground up. At least the Landcruisers they use now are reliable and are built properly.

I have to say, it actually doesn't look that bad. I shudder to think though of how much taxpayers' money was wasted on the thing though.

The Evo X uses as much fuel as the SS I went through it pretty quick on our test drive lol. Pity this one is only the base model and lacks quite a bit less kw's.

As for the hummers, they are not trialling them, they are being donated.

I have to say I think the Evo X is the best from Mitsubish for a long time. I'd love one too but I'm even bigger than minux!

Great for a track car... One of the guys in the HSV Club with a seriously modded VZ GTO coupe and VE Maloo is thinking about getting one for track days...

Evo X... looks good but thats about it. The Evo IX is a quicker car. Barbagallo Raceway saw an average .75 seconds a lap difference.
