    Default Small talk

This is where everything off topic and unrelated goes..

Instead of pollluting other threads with inane dribble, kick back and discuss anything worth discussing.. That can range from pocket fluff, to Superman to, well anything..

    Discuss whatever's on your mind.

Hey guys, gals. I was just seeing if there is anyone (else) on here that used to watch the TV show Full House. If so, did you like it? What were your most/least favourite episodes/people. Do you own any merchandise?

My answers: I used to watch it when I was younger (By the time I was watching it, it was only the re-runs) But I used to love watching it each week.

My favourite characters were Kimmy (Andrea Barber), Jesse (John Stamos), and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). My least favourite was Aaron Bailey (Miko Hughes).

My favourite episode...Ummm that's a hard decision (who asked these bloody questions ) there too many good ones to decide, my least favourite would have to be Season 1 Episode 0 "Unaired Pilot" John Posey cannot act! I'm glad Bob Saget got to be Danny

I will try to shorten the list of what I have...
Season 1 - 8 box set (in the house)
    "Rockin' Jesse" doll
    Tanner Family dolls
    Katsopolis Family dolls
Full House official magazine (Australian copy, think it is 1993)
2 puzzles (Jesse, the 3 girls [D.J., Stephanie, Michelle)
    Various Pins
Various Full House and actor cut outs (some signed)
    Various Posters/Pictures (some signed)
Various books (trying to get all of them)
LAFFS TV Trading Cards (Perfect Strangers, Family Matters and Full House set) (some signed)
    Full House Board Game
Bob Saget: That Ain't Right DVD

LOL Full House, I remember that show. Watched it as a kid back in the 80's and early 90's maybe? That Jesse guy was also the drummer in the Beach Boys at one point if I recall. My whole family would watch it. I can barely remember much of it at all. Never watched the re-runs.

Thats quite an obscure interest you have there LightningVP. How much is some of that stuff woth these days? Good luck with you collecting!

Yes all your statements are correct, infact the one thing missing from my collection is a copy of "Forever - John Stamos & The Beach Boys" they did it as a CD but I cannot get a hold of it anywhere....

As for the price, I'm not quite sure, most of the stuff I have only recently just purchased, but have spend $100's on stuff most expensive would be the dolls ($120USD) and movies ($180AUD), then will come the books (price still adding)...

Oh and a photo signed by 10 of the cast which was $250 :|

Wow! I guess the popularity of the Olsen twins recently would be helping the value of these collectables too. Hang on to it for a while and you probably will have a top investment in the future.

I collect Metallica stuff. I have vinyls all over the place and signed copies of rare promo CD's etc. The problem is that there are plenty of fakes around and you need to be careful what you buy and do your research. There are people reprinting vinyls to this day but the reprints aren't worth as much as the originals of course.

Its funny how some people would just consider some of these collectables junk and throw them away without realising they had something highly valuable. I look back at some of the things I have thrown away and I'm sure they would be worth something by now.

I know exactly what you mean...

I collect (a hell of a lotta) other stuff as well, which also includes everyone of Mark-Kate and Ashely Olsen's movies, as well as stacks of clippings, pictures, CD's, puzzles...

But then we get away from the "hidden" life, and I have almost every Lord Of The Rings puzzle ever made in the world...have almost 100 puzzles...Which is a VERY EXPENSIVE collection :| and then there is stamps, coins, other odds and ends...

As much I don't agree with that, I do agree that Mary-Kate has gone up s**t creek, while Ashley has actually "grown up" and wish her all the best.

As much as I love space and all, I never got into Star Wars or Star trek...by the time I was actually watching movies there were like 50 episodes but I know a lot of people who have the Star trek collection.

Sucks when that happens, not long ago I bought a few hallmark ornaments, they looked nice and would look good as display in the lounge, now I have 64 of them, worth over $800 all up
