    1 litre Coke $3.23
1 litre dish washing liquid $4.11 per litre
Master Foods (squuze bottle) Tomato Sauce $4.66 per litre
Red Bull up to between $11.00 - $13.00 per litre
Australian fresh (ctn) Orange Juice $2.65 per litre
Black Douglas Scotch Whisky $40.00 per litre
Tooheys New Beer from $3.45 per litre
Bottles of red/white wines - anything from $6.00 per litre to $40.00+ per litre
Bundaberg Rum from $43.00 per litre
    Bacardi Breezer $11.80 per litre
Spray and Wipe Cleaners from $6.67 per litre
Palmolive Dish Washing Liquid $6.64 + per litre
Farmers Union Iced Coffee anywhere between $2.47 and $4.75 per litre
Tetley Iced Tea $3.18 per litre
Bottled 'Spring Water' up to and sometimes more than $6.00 per litre (depending on brand)

...and so on they go ever increasing costs. If you want more proof just check-out some of the brochures regularly delivered to most homes.
Not that I ever complain about the cost of fuel, but how many of the items you have listed do you use at a rate of about 50 litres a week?

Oh and if you're paying $3.23 a litre for Coke, you're getting ripped off!

yeah, apart from the fact that i wasn't complaining about price, but rather what i saw as a bit of sneakiness on their behalf, do you ever stop to consider the fact that the infrastructure that delivers all these products and more to your store is based around petrol, companies won't just absorb these prices, they'll pass them straight on to you.
