i know how it feels to put a pet down. had a jack russal terrior had to put her down last year. she had breast cancer i have to say it was one of the hardest things iv had to do. after 13 years its pretty hard to say goodbye.

My dog recently died after his kidneys failed (we put him down rather than him suffer)
Its even sadder when its because of money. I think there should be some form of pet 'medicare' to help cover the costs of vet bills. It cost me $800 for blood test to find out my dog was allergic to mozzies and his skin problems could be solved with insect repellant....

There is private health insurance available for your pets, just like health insurance for humans. Can't remember the name but do a google search.

or when a human hurts an animal they are basically seen as scum by RSCPA....yet when an animal attacks another animals, or human they don't do anything....and use the "well that animal will attack when provoked" or some s**t like that...

Of course an animal will attack when provoked. Just the same as any human would knock someones lights out if provoked.
