    Default Sheds

Me and my brother are thinkin of goin halves in a decent shed (we live with our Mum at the moment, but in a year or 2 we're thinkin of buying the house off of her). Just wondering what places in SA are best? We're looking around for a 3 bay shed with roller doors.

Anyone know of some good places in Adelaide? Got any links to their websites?

just go as big as you can budget for. no matter how big a shed is, you always seem to fill it!

    i agree with that.
it isnt finished yet. total cost so far about 22k. power and a hoist to go.
since that pic i have filled it but i am still building shelves so that will give me some room.

depends what i go for. a mate gets a mag that has them in it and in there they are about 3k for a 2 poster. my dad sells them also and i can get 1 of him for 4k.
there are 4 posters on ebay for around 4 but a 2 poster better suit me cause i will need to drive over it with my 3 ton work truck which just fits under the roller doors.

The shed idea got put on hold.....and the other day we saw a 2nd hand shed for sale for $400. It's fairly old, bout the same age as our current shed, but it's a double bay. Went and had a squiz and for $400 it's a bargain.....ended up getting it, had to pull it down and truck it home...which cost nuthin as my other bro works for a trucking company, so he just used the forklift and flatbed....had it pulled down and home in a few hours. I got out of doing it tho coz it was in the middle of my nightshifts lol.

Anyways I'm wondering about concreting. We're gonna have to make some new feet for it, so would I make the new feet, erect the shed, get it all level then concrete? Or concrete first and say dynabolt the shed on top of the concrete? We're gonna put it right next to our big shed, so it will be like an extension.

Make sure you get a permit, and its 100% approved before you start building, you dont seem to be so popular with your neighbours atm, and that would be an easy way for them to get back at you.

Not 100% sure on the CORRECT way to put the feet. I have seen someone dynabolt the feet ON to the concret and it snapped the concret caus there was no support, apparently you have to have extra support.
Have also seen them put in place, then concreted in place, cant remember exactly how it was done.

Thx for the info mate. The only neighbors that were ****ed off have moved and some mates have moved into their old house.....and the old chook from the video that lives up the road is having a house auction in a few weeks....so I guess they'll be gone soon as well.

Yeah I think I'll just put the feet on the bottom of the shed, put them in the ground, get it level, concrete the feet in, then lay the floor.
