Default Constuction Collapse - Canberra CBD

Building collapse in Civic | The RiotACT

Building under construction partially collapses - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Made a pretty big bang and I've never seen so many emergency services vehicles converge so fast!

Rumour is that they changed the specs of the supporting slab to be smaller to save $$$ (according to someone that works on that site). Hint: There's a reason it's engineered to a certain size!

Someone's going to lose their job!

that doesn't sound unusuall, road builders like to cut back on subbase/subgrade material all the time....ever wondered why there are so many pot holes on aussie roads lol.
