    Default Party Songs

    Sup all,

I searched for the topic but couldn't find any.

I'm making a CD for a party and I need some suggestions on what to put on it. I want music that EVERYONE knows, fairly new (1990's+), any genre. It needs to have songs that will get the girls dancing but also have some songs for the boyz.

Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks - Fun song to sing when your wrecked..
Baby I got You (on my mind), Sunsets - Powderfinger
Breakout, Monkey Wrench, Pretender - Foo Fighters
Back in black, thunderstruck, jailbreak - AC/DC

Just a few of what I'd pick

That would be 'Baby Got Back' from 92....

Salem's got a pretty good mix of floor fillers, just add a couple of singalong type songs like Wham's 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go', Village People 'YMCA', the Grease Megamix, some Abba and some disco classics like 'I Will Survive' and that should have most people getting into party mode
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?

We usually start a lot of our parties with ministry kind of music, and gradually work up to the harder trance etc, because as proven above, there are a lot of people that don't like hardstyle, but they are the kind of people who are usually too drunk to care later on the night anyway

The good ones to sing along to once you have had a few.

Dont discount the mosre popular 80's stuff -

Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer
ACDC - Shook me all night long
Choir boys - Run to paradise
    Michael Jackson- Billie Jean
    Rick Springfield- Jessie's girl
    Queen - Bohemian rhapsody
Bryan Adams - "Summer of '69".

And to get the girls up and dancing (even though this will make you cringe a little)
    Village people - YMCA
Abba - Dancing queen (im sure there are plenty others)
    Grease lightning
    B-52's - Loveshack

    A few ideas there

Hahaha yep. I know heaps of people who hate hardstyle and rip me off for listening to it. But as soon as they hear it when there drunk they instantly love it and the next day they are downloading hardstyle music lol.

Ones the girls like dancing to:
Mobin master - show me love
    Pnau - Babay
Kid Cudi - Day n Nite
    Katy Perry - I kissed a girl
Pussycat Dolls - When I grow up (or that other new song)
The longest road (whoever that's by)
Pretty much anything by the Presets or Kaz James - some of that is actually pretty good!

I can't believe I am encouraging people to listen to some of that stuff...
