    Default Worst songs ever

My sister is on another forum site and one of their threads is "The worse song you have ever heard", so thought I'd start one here...

Although I dislike all the "screamo" music, I don't know any of those songs so I will have to say (off the top of my head), My Humps by Black Eyed Peas and Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani

EDIT: Remembered my most hated one: James Blunt - Beautiful :| arrgh, I liked it better when I forgot it

Anything by Gwen Stefani or Rihanna. Or quite a few other skanktastic pop idols.

I found it particularly that Rihanna just ripped off Tainted Love and sung over it (with dopey lyrics) for her most popular song :P

Hehe, I only know about Umbrella ripping off Tainted Love because I heard it on the jukebox at work. Heard the tune and knew Tainted Love, then heard her singing over it. What a sorry excuse for musical talent.

yeah it's sad when they do that to GREAT songs...sonngs like that should not be meddled with...thats like doing a remake of Stairway To Heaven, NOTHING can beat the original. But yeah, I had to put up with Timberlake a few months ago when I was working with a guy for 2 weeks who had the radio on 101.9...I mean seriously they played the same TEN songs every day over and over again...

Hehe yep, that's commercial radio for you. Anything other than Triple J or AM stations and it'll happen :P Triple J still do it too, but not half as badly.

O ya, and Stairway To Heaven ftw

Yeah, I hadrly even have my aerial up...Use my CD player unless I'm not in the mood to listen to my CDs...which is quite rare

But yes, the only songs I agree about a remake from a "classic" song would be Lisa Marie Presley singing "In The Ghetto" (It is just a touching song, and had good reasons/intentions about it) the other is Ugly Kid Joe's version of "Cats In The Cradle" (Although the original will always be the better version, I love the extra bass put in this one)

The manson version of Tainted Love is one of the ones where I like it for the sake of comparing it to the original. It's like hearing Korn cover Metallica's 'One'. ****house cover, but interesting to hear their style over it.

I've got albums on top of albums by The String Quartet that do nothing but tribute albums, cover albums of entire bands. They've done tributes to Tool, Metallica, System of a Down, Pink Floyd, you name it they've done it. A string quartet cover of a metal song can sound strangely appealing.

    And,
    Piffle @ Fergie.
