Default Toyota Gifts F1 title to Lewie

Hamilton wins the F1 title because the 2 Toyotas slow by some huge amount on the last lap.

Massa had it won for about 5 seconds until the Toyotas pulled out of the race and went real slow so Lewie could pass and finish 5th and win the title.

Wonder if the race resaults will stand - will/can the FIA do anything about it?

I was horrified at the outcome of that, there was no more rain than the previous lap and amazingly Lewis' mate Glock just pulls aside and lets both Vettel and Lewis through. It is sad to see a championship decided that way.

I would love to see Hamilton in a lower spec car, he would seriously be useless. I think Vettel is going to prove how poor a driver Mark Webber is when he sits in the same car as him next year.

As much as I dont like Farrari's - Lewis should not have the F1 title.

Massa has had a stella year and should have been world champ.

    F1 = FAIL.

Vettle will do just as poorly as Mark Webber next year.

If I were Vettle I'd not want to swap cars now - His current team have a great package now that they have the good gearbox & Farrari engines.

Minix - small cyber wager - Vettle will not beat Webber next year

Just as hamiltom should have had the title last year, but the fia made sure they still won.

I don't think it was deliberate, trulli was also on dry tyres, and he lost the same amount of time to the rest of the field.

On the MW point, had he started his career in the same car hamilton did, i bet his results would be alot different.

didn't see the race. although it sounds sus how hamilton got past glock on the last lap. bernie won't do anything about it. i agree that hamilton probably won't do well in a lesser car. however he will be with Mclaren untill he leaves the sport.

on the other hand, ferrari can only blame themselves for loosing the championship. they made to many mistakes this year. massa to, needs to stop driving with his heart and start driving with his head. once he get s his emotion under control and gets on with driving he'll do beter me thinks. he's always been to hot headed to be consistent

Have a look at where his car is, and how much water is on that part of the track. Not somewhere you'd want to be on full slicks.

Glock pulled out of the last lap. As close as you get to race fixing.

I hope the team radio from Toyota has nothing on it to suggest they were going to help Lewie out.

Both Glock and Trulli took the risk on slicks and both went ~18 seconds slower on that last lap.

Rain wasn't heavier but it was building up on the track, would not have been fun that last lap on slicks. Could see with a few of the cars on wets it was slippery.

Bit of a dissappointment, I wanted Massa to win the championship as well.

I have the race on tape and will look it over tonight. Also The F1 web site may have more info on what happend with regard to the race.

It may well be that all the cars on slicks returned the same sort of times on the last lap. I probably should have watched the whole race before opening my gob.

Trulli and glock were the only 2 cars on slicks. Glock lost 14 seconds, trulli lost 18 i think.

Looked like a gift act.. Toyota will never win a championship, In this way they help deliver one.

I remember someone once saying DC would make Mark Webber look bad.

Vettle only got fast when they changed the gearbox mid year.

Mark will still beat him more often than not.

They were still running a team that had a lesser budget than red bull. The only times Webber has done well is when all the other cars fail to finish

I think Vettle will be a great driver, And i think Webber could be better with the right machinery under him. Would like to see him move to Renault.

Both cars on slicks had bad last laps. Glock didnt pull out of the way to let only Hamilton through, you can see before Hamilton gets to him that he's struggling and then afterwards he is struggling for grip.

Mark Webber had his chance in a good car, he will never be world champion material.

If you are talking about the Williams?. Ahh no it was a **** heap with trouble. That car was not even close to a championship winning car.

I ment the live stream on the website.
There were only 30 laps left before the normal 10 telecast even started.

Chanel 10 have upto 2 hours delay most nights for the F1. Most races start on the internet at 9:30 Sunday nights and 10 start yabbering at 11 ish. Infact most races are just finishing as the cars grid up on the telly.

Actually, Ten HD have it with a delay of about 60 seconds most nights So while you watch repeats of whatever garbage they show at 9:30, Ten HD are showing almost live pictures of the F1
