Anyone going to the Melbourne Cup?

Hey guys, just wondering who's going to Flemington for the melbourne Cup Tomorrow?

I am, a Bunch of friends have hired a Hummer Limmo, and we will be picked up at 7:30 am and taken to Flemington for the day, then picked up by another Limmo after... Can't wait, I have my suit and loudest shirt and Tie ready..

The last time I went was somewhere around 1997, so looking forward to it

Nah i wouldn't waste my cash. I'd rather keep it in my wallet and go to a BBQ at my mates. Eat some meat, have a beer or two and feel fresh for work wednesday.

chrisso, i saw ya before, u did laps of main st, and went to the ATM. i was outside the grand on the phone.

I was keen to go to cup, but some ppl said 'nah cant be ****d'
i went in 06, and was a great day. Dress up, get on the ****.

I got $20 on Mad Rush on Fixed odds @ $6(from 2 weeks ago)
and i just put $10 each way on Honolulu.

Ehh, just another horse race in my opinion. I wouldn't go to the local races cos thats just lame, but next time the race falls on my birthday in 2017 I might go. I imagine it would be an awesome atmosphere and there would be plenty of sites.
