I'm a landscaper and i love it.
theres tonnes of different trades out there, probably best off looking at a list of tafe trade courses to find them. Why don't you think about what things you like doing that may be more helpful eg. if you are a bit on the queer side maybe we could suggest a hairdressing trade
Is that a 3 year apprenticeship? I was considering getting into that as I wanted to extend my artwork to doing murals and thought that painting decorating trade would be helpful. If it is a lot of crappy sanding down stuff most the time type work I don't think I would be stuffed though lol.
Seems he wont mind, and it's on the same topic...Is there anything that covers the "basics", I love electrical, landscaping, carpentry...ect, and could do almost any trade i wanted to (I'm usally the first family and friends come to when they need house help), but they dont exactly have a "Every trade" apprenticeship
I was in the Automotive trade like part sales(freebies) and a mechanic but gave that up for a easier job in hospitality....
I do all my own stunts....
Yeah 3 years.
Like all trades you start at the bottomFirst is learning prep so washing surfaces down, filling, sanding (after the lazy plasters like Troy
), undercoating and so on along with cleaning up all equipment. Then you move on to actual painting normally ceilings (harder to notice **** ups) and first coats. Then you move to actual painting, and finally onto specialty finishes and more the decorator side (wallpaper, boarders, basic tilling, etc)
Every boss is different but that's ruffly how I did mine.
