Took the cars out for a photoshoot today, Taken by Myturn
Thoughts?
Not sure what this has to do with VY's, so moved it to the Pub.

Interesting, may I ask what you used to do the HDR? Whether you took it from a raw or did you use multiple exposures? It looks as though you may have to broaden the range on some of the shots.
Yeah i noticed the photochopped rims on the VY.....
In short, when you take a photo you generally expose for the highlights. If you expose for the bright part of the photo, everything else goes dark. Like a silhouette. On the other hand if you expose for something dark, the highlights get blown, everything that was light goes white and overexposed.
HDR is a technique where Multiple exposures get blended over each other to make the ultimate exposure basically.

That website there basically explains it with the three photo's on the left, and the finished product on the right. I believe Minux uses this as well from time to time, and I use it a fair bit with some of my photos.
i dunno, it's a cool effect and all, but here's my $0.02
if you're going to shop them anyway may as well take a normal photo and try something different like hdr-ing the background but not the car.
not to start another graffiti thread, but there has to be cooler pieces to use as a backdrop.
i'd say the beemer is the best for placement/compostition. the cars seem like last minute addition to the other shots.
