How much experience do you have in a machine shop?

experience -
nutech engineering 4 year apprenceship in earth moving machining, metal spray, lathe drill , surface grinding , vertical boring, slotting , limited horizontal boring

water corp shenton park 4 weeks rebuilding **** pumps and water pumps

geographe energy 7 months as a valve tech rebuilding valves, actuators , some on site experience up north and part time machining

gtsa engineering 18 months rebuilding loco and english electric diesel engines, submarine head rebuilds, rebuilding of bogie frames for ore trains . only on site machinist so was able to to machine a range of items.

bossong engineering 3 months rebuilding dredge lines, fitting in a production line and machine work aka lathes and mills

Tried the mines man? i mate of mine is the same as u finished his trade a few months back and just got a job on them by the sounds of it their always lookin 4 them specially if ur good at wat u do and hang around long term.

1. Register with all the labour hire agencies you can and ring them weekly and ask if they have anything for you. Agencies just file your application and resume away generally. You need to be in their face to prove you are serious about finding work.
