I think the GM-Chrysler merger is off, GM just does not have the cash to take Chrysler and merge the brands together (not that it was a great idea anyway).

They have to reduce the number of brands and dealers but they've left it too late. Buick, Saturn and GMC need to go, along with others.

They should merge Pontiac-Saturn Buick into one under the Buick name. To many in one country building the same dribble for the one company.

Chev does sporty type and boring. Cadillac is the so called BMW fighter. And Buick can become the Lexus fighter. And to fill in the gaps import cars from us and abroad.
