Ben Cousins cleared by AFL Commission after drug scandal | Herald Sun
WOO HOO. ofcourse he was going to be able to play again... why would the AFL have set a date etc.. and then say he cant play..
Will be great to see him back. Hopefully he comes to my team (saints).
Im sure there is some haters of him, but meh... grow up
Thats all.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
I give him 6 games and he'll blow a hammy.
Hey good luck to him if he can come back and play footy again![]()

Meh, I think he's a wanker...
Great to see him come back.
The media almost ****ed this careers guy for good, not to mention the incompetence of the West Australian Police. While this guy had issues, he fought through them the hard way and looks like he has come out on top. Can't wait to see where he goes, he was one of the best mid fielders in the AFL.

If you believe the hype, he'll be going to St Kilda, which I think is a pretty good move. They'll use him well in the midfield there. A happy ending I think
hopefully they dont put him on the front page of every newspaper for ages again

Brisbane has first choice if they want him, but the 'paper' says that the lions dont wnat him, which is good news for us saints supporters
Over here he would not be a big hype palyer, where as in West, he was "god"
abit like the gary ablett, or wayne carey.

Bloody hell the AFL are weak, the guy is a repeat offender, pretty much got a tickertape parade when he got back in last time, and we all know how long that lasted. Not to mention the gang ties he's had, yet they're handing everything to him on a silver platter.
I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance, especially in relation to drugs, but this guy surely has had enough lives.
The AFL seem to have one of the weakest stances on drugs of any sporting code globally that I've ever seen.
I wouldn't get carried away. His best footy is behind him anyway.
