Hey guys,
I'm going diff hunting this weekend for a VL diff (I just want the 3.45 gears out of it), and just wanted to know where everyone else goes to get commodore parts in Melb (s/e subs)? Any wreckers that overcharge that I should steer clear of?
Cheers, Tom
Jolly Rogers (just on Greens rd in dandy)
Harveys in Baxter.
Kumback wreckers in Moorabin ( i think its moorabin)
Hold-on wreckers in Seaford)
I think Geoff 'wagon wheel' paid abt $120
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
dandenong wreckers on dandenong-frankston road in dandenong. They have most parts o shelf so it might be worth a try
Thanks heaps fellas![]()
Theres also Pick A Part in Kilsythe or however the **** you spell it. Isnt really eastern suburbs but it could be worth the drive. EastComm wreckers i think as well but they are rip off merchants, and are located in Ferntree Gully.
Yeah i use Eastcomm wreckers, they aren't THAT badly priced, but i use them cos they always have good parts and always have what i need.
Plus they are 2 seconds from my house so it's easier to get to.![]()
eb-ef xr6's have 3.45's which will also fit in your car
With HoldOn in Seaford, i can never get onto them. Anyone have their opening times?
What wreckers would have foglight switches for a VT/VX, holden want way too much.
Hold On have officially won me over.
Rang Holden frankston about a foglight switch for a VT, they said 75. Checked eBay cheapest was 58 with 10 P&H.
Went to HoldOn and they gave me one for 15.
Awesome.
Geelongs Dark Streets.
Pick-A-Part basis.
Frankston: The street is your wrecker. BYO Bricks.
