I won't give anything away, but my view:
That is one of the WORST things you could ever do with driving, who the **** would be so ****ing stupid.
She should be stripped of her license for MINIMUM 5 years, a HEAVY fine, have to take alcohol/drug abuse programs (no there wasn't drugs involved but do doubt she would be doing them), and have DHS take the child off her.
She does NOT deserve to be a mother of a ticking time bomb on our roads
Radio today: She has been "fined for drink driving", nothing else has been said (as yet)

Police yesterday charged her with negligently causing serious injury, exceeding the legal alcohol limit and perverting the course of justice.
Quoted from the link you posted. I agree she should lose her license, But 5 years? I dont think she should see freedom for at least 10 years at a very miniumim and she should NEVER be allowed to drive anything ever again. If i were the judge i would imprision her for the rest of her natural life due to the fact that she has ruined the rest of her sons life.

Ok, well good that she got that...
As for "jail term" the courts wont give that to her as she has a child, so unless the child was taken from her she wont see any jail time, which is a load of ****. I would say she should never drive again, but because she still has her child, I would like to hope she got a good smack in the head and looks are him this time round, and drive him to the hospital when need be

When i heard about it this morning on the radio, i was like thats fair ****ed up, the kids 2yrs old, and fair chance he wont walk again. Hope she gets more than just a fine and driving bull****

I think that it is sad that innocent children have had to suffer for the mistakes of their parents.
If she is any sort of human being though, having to care for and witness every day for the rest of her life the difficulties her son will face if he survives, is a pretty harsh punishment in itself.
