Best new thread for the year

Just thinking back over the year on what may have been the best new thread for 2008.

There has been some real good ones (and very bad too)

So My vote goes to the auto reclining seat fix back in April 08. Such a simple thing to fix and soooo common.

Any other contenders?

Totally agree... The funniest thread online ever! Not just because of the story but because of how quickly it spiraled out of control. Even mods were involved and were posting - HILARIOUS!

I copped a two week ban for the fat jokes (even though I'm also fat) but as far as I know, that's it - nobody else copped anything. And looking back, rightly so, but that doesn't change how damn funny it was.

Still, it wins my vote for best thread.

Staying on topic: Ummm...I havn't been here for the whole year but there are a lot of good threads out there, and I don't believe that you cold pick ONE single one as "best of the year" and if you did, I don't see how you could pick one like "cyclists on the road"...a "best thread" is one that people enjoy, and look at it even when there are no posts, one that is helpful and cheers people up. If anything, I would choose Parts & Accessories *Abbreviations* or Debadge your car in 10 minutes, WARNING dial up users

its no competition. jc members on aca. if you missed it too bad. it was the funniest/slackest/biggest bag out session ever. people ven posted it on other forums and people came over just to join in. like cousin slow poke said even the mods were baggin out these people 5 minutes into it there were funny edited photos and screenshots. it was completely out of control. i was just hitting F5 every few seconds and there would be new posts everytime.

exactly what i was trying to say....so you believ that a thread classed as the "biggest bag out session ever" should be named #1, what would future members of the site say if it WERE to be choosen, maybe something along the lines of "Oh look another forum where even the mods hang **** on everyone"

its not an actual competition. he just said he liked a certain thread and wanted others opinions. theres not gonna be a trophy. and my opinion and im pretty sure anyone who was part of it would agree it was un****ingbelievably funny. it was the most fun thing computer related i have done this year. so i feel it deserves to be remembered. thread has been removed anyways so new members wont see it. so cheer the **** up

Mate hanging **** on people is pretty much the norm in my family and at my work and with my mates... I can give as good as I can get and laugh at the **** that gets hung on me.

If people take offence to it, it's nobody's problem but their own.

Although I do understand the JC Admin Team have to cater to the lowest common denominator, which is a shame (as it earned me a 2 week sebaticle from actively contributing), but necessary.

you people are so perfetik. So wat if we inconvenense a few cars. Guess what we are getting excercise not sitting on our lazy asses watching tv all day like you slobs. If I could ride as fast as a car I would so I dont have u rude basterds yelling at me. But I have only been rideing a year and I need more practise to get faster. How can I get faster when i have you rude slobs yelling at me and trying to run me off the road. i just want to get fit you know. Dont descrimnate aganst me coz I am active. I tried other wyas of getting fit. I joined a gym but the mussely dude larfed at me coz I was week. So I took steroids and I went nuts for a while and my penis went smaller. Now I have to stuff socks in my spandex.
