If they map every cyclist that he hits then they should be able to track him down soon enough.

good on the elderly, cyclists really give me the ****s, u pass them (having to wait for the other lane to get clear to pass) , then at the next lights they cycle between cars and get to the front and once again your struggling to pass them.

Why didnt he hit a pack of em. Most bike riders think they need the whole lane to ride in.

As much as I would like to blame the elderly driver, it probably WAS the cyclist's fault.

This is just going by much experience of cyclists who think they own the road obstructing traffic during peak hour, getting in the way, and then wondering why we hate them using the roads.

I have absolutely no trouble not using main roads on MY pushbike, why can't they stay off the roads? Cars = bigger and faster, and WE'RE the ones paying good money to use the roads.

That being said, if it was completely the elderly guy's fault then FINALLY, something in the news about a crash not caused by a "young" driver. Interesting how the news reports so many P plater crashes, and yet 90% of the incidents I've seen involve middle aged to elderly...

Regardless of whose fault it was, do you agree with the fogey driving off afterward?

And remember, bikes for some reason have equal rights on a road, even though they don't pay any fees to use them. Just the way it is.

I know cyclists can be annoying sometimes, and downright stupid with some of the stuff they do. Doesn't mean they all are, and if the car hit the cyclist from behind, then the driver is more than likely at fault. Rear ends generally are the fault of the hitter, not the hitee

These days, I cycle almost everywhere. Rode an 80k return trip last week for a few photos.

While some riders can be blamed, not all can. No matter how careful I am I always cop abuse, I ride in bike lanes where possible and where there is no lanes I abide by the laws and keep my correct distance on the side of the road, yet still cop abuse.

I feel bad for my past years of being a ****wit driver like so many out there. Will happily admit it too.

I suggest those that have forgotten the fun of riding, go buy themselves a bike and get out there, you will soon realise how many cocksucker car drivers are out there...really need to watch those on mobile phones...they drift all over the road.

Oh and to the tosser Bogan's who called me a "bike riding faggot"(just in case you frequent here), perhaps applying the same amount of thought to your career as to your insults might see you get somewhere. Sad that you insult someone for keeping fit, even more sad when the car you insult from is less valuable than a push bike. Grow up ffs.

Lol, you don't need to ride a bike to realise that!

Can you please remind any other cyclists you may associate with, that red lights apply to them too?

Rarely ride with anyone else, have only ever seen 1 cyclist run a red light, in fact I see many many more tools in cars run red lights. Around here they are generally pretty good. You get the odd pack which ****es me off no end, aside from that they seem pretty smart.
