I know this is not Commodore but it is sort of Holden.
my Dad is tryting to fit a reversing camera to his Holden Barina 1998 Model SB
, it is a wireless link from camera to display and it says to connect to the revsering fuse. this means the camera will be on all the time. Where is the revsering switch connection for these cars. Go easy on me guys, my Dad is 80. I drive a VX SS.

Pick up the reverselight feed at the tail lights for the camera and get the supply for the screen from the loom that run to the back of the car, you should be able to find it in one of the kick panels, if not you can get the feed from the reverse switch on the gearbox
I assume is a manual?
A couple of possibilities. As mentioned above, if it's a manual, the switch on the transmission for the reversing lights would be a good place to start. If it's an auto, the cut-out safety switch on the shift lever will also include the reversing light switch, you just need to work out which ones are for reversing lights.
Alternately, regardless of transmission type, as said above, pick up the power from the positive side of the wiring to the reversing lights in the boot.
Yeah OK, the camera is powered from the reversing lights OK, the video signal is wireless back to display. I need to power the display when we go into reverse. I am an electrician but I am 500 kms away from Dad. I will do it when I go down at Christmas, thanks guys.
