Default XR6T Dyno Graph & Timeslip

As promised (a while ago...sorry works been crazy) my dyno graph and a timeslip for my car.
The 1/4 mile time isnt flash hot but it was my first go at it. The tuner says there is alteast another half second to drop of it on street tyres and probs a second with MT's.
    Cheers Jesse.

Unless it was an engine dyno it would be tractive effort.

Although impressive figures, it shows how much more power you need in them to run as quick as an 8. Unopened NA LS1 VT's are running mid 12's, which really is quite impressive. Still, no slouch for a 6 though

No, that figure is flywheel torque. Tractive effort is around 9150 Nm, will post up tractive effort chart latter today.
As for power compared to a 8, the main problem i have is the manual's are incredibly hard to launch well. 3.2g smokes 1st and 2nd, while 3.0g bogs of the line. theres is a very fine line where maximum traction and launch speed are gained. if i had the ZF (BF) auto box i would be doing high 11's on street tyres. There was a guy down there in a BF auto XR6T with just a flash tune and I/C (330 HP at the wheels) and he ran a best of 12.2.
So as for power equating to quick times, not allways the case, need a good suspension setup. The V8's smash it of the line to, so your 60" foot times will be a mile better (and as you said less power needed get a quick time).
And yes N/A LS1 are very impresive!!

Not on nxt wednesday, i think nxt friday its on but il double check 2nite. Yeh you need a helmet that meets Aus & NZL standards, tyres with tread and your car needs to be roadworthy (yellow sticker's are ok though...yeh go figure???).
