Hi all,

I've discovered that a wheel bearing and my engine mounts all need replacing. On top of this my car is due for it's 180,000Km service.

What I'd like to know is, what sort of a job would the mounts and wheel bearing/s be? Are they able to use a hoist to support the engine and replace the mounts from beneath, or is it a fairly large job involving removal of lots of crap? Same question for the wheel bearing, is it a big job?

I wouldn't ask how much I should expect to pay for a service since it will vary depending on condition of car, the people working on it etc, but an indication of how big a job the mounts and bearing would be might help me, if anyone has any ideas
