Hi ive been searching around a bit lately to find out what i cant have on P's in SA is there a v8 ban or am i just listening to the wrong people?

i think he ment himself. probably was a crazy driver back then. i know i was. i should not have even owned a 6 for my first car. i got myself in enough trouble with that.

I put a 4cyl celica into a tree the first week i had my P's. Never had a crash since with 6 and V8s.

or he learnt his lesson after the first time. Probably why he did not have another accident in a more powerful car. for me i had a couple of crashes before i decided to grow up. dad did not even want me to have a 6. you can get up to higher speeds alot quicker in a V8 thats why i think its irresponsibe to let them own one when they are just learning to drive. just because you have past the p plate test does not make you a good driver. im 10 times the driver i was six years ago.

When your parents get your hopes up and say 'whatever you save up, we'll double it', then not pay up when you save up 6000 (was thinking sick, 12000 car), then they convince you to buy a $1500 celica (making their half 750) of course your not going to 'want' it haha

hey im fine driving a 6cyl not a fan of 4's but i thought v8's were off limits to current p plates i never see any with them so knowing i could get one was good even tho i probably wont get one petrol might be a bit on apprentice wages.
