Although sometimes the case, I wouldn't assume that's ALWAYS the case. When I was on my L's I was learning in a little mazda 121, the box shaped one. Front and back plates were constantly falling off, simply because the magnetic ones we had were just plain **** and wouldn't stick. Front ones were on just the right angle that anything above 60kmh and the wind pulled them off, and the back ones were just difficult to find a flat spot large enough to put them on without bending them and weakening the bond.

I got pulled over because a cop thought i wasnt displaying P plates, but i was they were just so badly faded they were hard to see. He told me to replace them as soon as possible and didnt fine me. Ive had two sets of Red P's fade on me but these new green ones seem to be holding up

If you got done on christmas eve (double demerits) you've lost 3 points. Otherwise you've lost 2 points.

I was pulled over while on Schoolies, i was driving in circles in a car park and the cop pulled me over, couldn't fine me for hooning because i didn't have any traction issues or leave marks, he noticed my rear p plate wasn't up wanted to charge me with it, but i talked my way out of it! Theres a post about it somewhere in this section from me

Stressball I did say many, not all

its a known fact many P platers dont display them in the hope of speeding and getting away with it.
I realise its a tough one, people do get caught out legitimately. Its a case of the few that ruin it for many, Im just thankful I missed it all
