Ohk, not exactly sure whether its going to apply to me though cause they are my host company as I am going through group training company.

I guess I'm ready for the amount of work and the pay rate, but meh, in the end I'll be both a qualified mechanic and auto electrician, 4 years will hopefully fly by haha..

You could always pop out to Kmart or similar and buy some King Gee blue work pants and a blue work shirt for around $50. Even if this is not what you should wear and are supplied with a uniform, they will come in handy when you are working around on the car etc at home.

I've got some long black pants and a black polo now that I'm going to wear, so I guess its just a matter of waiting till monday to find out about it all. I just didn't want to go out and buy a whole lot of clothes and find out they are not what I need, plus I'll buy most of the stuff once i get my money from the govt. lol

Don't forget to keep receipts, if it's protective clothing that you must wear for work purposes you can claim it on tax at the end of the year. You can also claim for laundering uniforms.

Just check the tax guidelines as to what specific items of clothing you can claim.
