Default look what we bought for 2009!

Hi all, just showing you what we bought as a present to ourselves for 2009. It all started after i built and installed the framed trellis work, my wife said you know what would look good there? A spa of course,so last tuesday we bought one, had it delivered and installed a day later (new years eve) great service from south pacific pools and spas, North Geelong also great work at short notice from the sparky too.

It has been worked overtime already as with all new things, we may now have some new friends!?

We have it set on 36 degrees and that seems to be a good temp for this time of year, may need it warmer in winter.

we plan on getting a gas patio heater for winter too as even now with this mild summer weather in Vic it is a bit cool getting out in the cool night air.

How did you manage to get your permit approved to fill the spa in only a week?

The spa installation was finished by 3.00 pm and the water was 20 degrees, by 9.30 pm it had reached 36 degrees,we were quite surprised at how quick it heated up.

I for one congratulate you on your new purchase instead of wasting it on some crazy part for your car. I'd love a spa instead of wasting heaps of money to make mine go a little bit quicker!

I don't consider myself rich or poor, just average (bus drivers wages!!) and often think how lucky we ALL are living in Aus and able to live the life we live, nice houses, good living, good cars, great lifestyle, great weather etc etc.

We are lucky we both work full time as many couples do, also very lucky my wife works in a school so is able to be home on holidays whenever our 2 kids are on holidays too.

If you are putting the spa on top of the deck just remember that 1 litre of water = 1 kg of weight so the average spa weighs around 1 tonne when full.

One would imagine the average spa has more than 1000L of water in it......

Great buy mate, don't let the haters get you down. We looked into getting one of these, decided to wait until we build our new place.

Hope its getting loads of use

Do they belong to you, or do you live with your parents? Just had the impression you were a teenager living at home which would make the spa and sauna your parents.

He used his tank to fill it up... and now you want to argue how much water he has in his spa? are you looking for an argument ?
