Totally thinking the same thing on saturday. An audi with WA plates was in the right hand lane in a 100 zone doing 80. I undertook and then was flashed by her when i got in front of her. **** YOU!!!!!!!!!1

I am so sick of getting right up the ass of the driver in front of the right hand lane either doing the speed limit or under and then they touch the brakes to **** you off. Then you undertake them when you get the chance then they decide it is the time to get onto the left hand lane after knowingly ****ing you off.
I am so over WA drivers. Also the optional extra indicator which not many drivers seem to use these days. Also me driving my 5L V8 VR and then the Hyundai drivers getting up your ass when you are doing 20kmh over the limit. **** you while I put my foot down to show you how much power you really could have.

Now that's a generalization. I'm a proud West Aussie, and while I agree there are some absolute morons on our roads, there are many competent drivers too.

I am a very good driver and so is everyone in my family and most of the people I'm friends with. I'll only sit in the right lane if overtaking and I'm usually 10-20ks over the limit.

I usually just take off normally (no point overworking my motor) but I gave it a bit of a boot to get ahead of the moron. I swear he saw a Commodore with 18's and wanted to be a smartass.

in fact on fri nite i was on the freeway and had a audi fly past me to then sit on 80 in the right lane next to another car doing the same speed in the left lane
that lasted for a good 20 min until there was a gap and the audi went flying off and then proceeded to turn off

the thing that p**** me off is that everyone sits on 85km/h on the kwinana fwy (heading towards perth) then when you get to the 80 kay zone they all speed up to 95km/h this does make any sence to me.

I would love to be able to explain to some people that if you have clear road in front of you and a long line of traffic behind you - YOU"RE HOLDING EVERYONE UP.

I live in WA and consider myself to be a good driver, but sadly I have to agree, there are some real s**t drivers here. Sitting 10 - 15 kms under the speed limit, those that are not concentrating until the last minute when they realise they have to cross four lanes of traffic to get to the fwy exit and are quite happy to slow down to 20klms per hour to "merge" all the way across.

But what really grinds my gears is that people constantly keep getting told to "slow down to save lives" so you have people entering the fwy at 80 kms per hour trying to then merge with traffic travelling at 100kms per hour - causing a huge blockage and they think this is "safe" driving. I guess over the years I generally have just developed a hatred for the general non-holden driving public.

I agree that WA drivers are crap at keeping left and merging. Just general courtesy too, not many people over here will let you in if you are waiting to turn into traffic.

It is also the Holden drivers that do this.

In a recent RAC magazine they had a write up which clarified this "keep left unless overtaking rule". According to the write up, by law you are only required to "keep left unless overtaking" in speed zones over 90kmph, and slower and all lanes are fair game. However, just like everyone else, I have been stuck behind countless idiots sitting in the right hand lane, with absolutely no idea of what they are doing. A warning to people who sit in the right hand lane, my boss absolutely hates it, and has a stash of 50c coins in his console. If somebody blocks him off in the right hand lane, they always end up with a nice coin dent in their bonnet as he drives past!!!!

I will stay in the right lane if there are still slower cars ahead of me but there is room to move into the left lane. Only if no one is behind me. I will move over out of courtesy if a car is coming up behind me no matter what speed I am doing. Let him get caught, once he is past I will move back into the right lane to continue overtaking.

Oh cyclists are wankers. I absolutely can't stand cyclists on the road. I'm a good driver so I can stay in my lane and get around them (I usually give them a serve of the horn and boot it past them to show them I'm ****ed off they're there). What annoys me is peak traffic when they keep coming back past you. There's this one big fat bloke with a hairy back who used to do that to me every night back when I used to go home up Wanneroo Road. I use Main St now, less idiots.

Nowadays, I've learned to park at the lights with your wheels 2 inches from the kerb so they can't get back past you. Either that or THEN they'll get onto the provided path.

But yeah, they make their own laws. We have to treat them like they're a car, but they can go through red lights, cut between traffic and do what they want.

Another thing that makes me mad is scooters. I don't mind motorbikes cutting through the traffic at lights to take off at the front because they're quick and they get outta your way. I had some bastard on a 50cc Scooter pull in the middle of two lanes at the lights and try to gun it in front of me... I wouldn't let him in front and neither would any of the other drivers so he was stuck shitting himself inbetween two lanes of moving cars for 30 seconds or so until some old man let him in XD!

Cyclists are allowed on the road. If a path isn't designated dual use, then it is actually illegal for them to use it. I don't mind cyclists except when they ride side by side on a single lane road.

I love it how people all seem to think they own the road over here.. especially when i had one of my shitty old bangers... as we know people here couldnt merge to save their lives.. but i used to find it incredibly funny when some a**hat thinks their big flashy landcruiser wagon (which has prol never seen an unsealed road) will attempt to put me off merging properly... (ie, left car, right car left car, not left car right car left car a**hat right car)

i also love the expressions you get when u make sure u cut the f***ers off good and they have to nail the anchors... and the best bit, i have right of way and they realise that when they notice u not giving in

i agree with WA drivers cant merge sit in the right lane etc etc ... what happened to keeping left especially when you NOT doing the speedlimit. and what is with drivers that come up to you on the right hand lane and then just sit in your blind spot or next to you and just sit there!!!! why cant you F****wits just overtake or just keep going at your speed and pass. i drive the southern end of the freeway every day and lost count the amount of times i have to flash light to move these incompitent idiots especially the elderly or mums in SUV's or the japanese volvo the camry.
