Pensioner banned from driving until 3000
Finally, maybe this will help introduce mandatoy re-testing at each lisence renewal.
Honestly if I got 100% (That means the "Yes" box was ticked for all items on my test) with only 60 hours of experience then anyone who has had a lisence for 10+ years should ace it.
Ha hah ahahaha thats gold!!!!Originally Posted by http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/707986/pensioner-banned-from-driving-until-3000
Just seems silly she has been banned from driving till the year 3000. she not going to live for another 991 years a silly punishment
Why not just ban her from driving till she passes on....
Im sure shes looking forward to the next millennium.
Did anyone else find it ironic that her surname was "Relic"?
Mebbe she was driving a pulsar.
lol then she says that she is a "good driver"...well if u were u wouldn't be in this mess now would you![]()
Just saw her on a news update, she could barely walk. How the **** does she think she can drive!

haha its funny how she kept trying to hit the cameras but her thing kept breaking... ahhh karma, sometimes it doesnt even wait to bite you in the arse.
some people are just funny.
My 86yo great grandmother stopped driving when she was about 70 because she was smart enough and curtious enough to not put peoples lives at risk! Anyway, my point being, my grandmother would still be more competent behind the wheel of a car than that lady!
what can you do but laugh? At least this story didnt end with a tragedy, which is what were all so used to these days...
and has anyone ever taught this lady how to catch a bus? its not that hard if my grandparents who can barely 'speaka-da-english' can figure out how to catch like 3 connecting trains im sure she'll manage..
I'll see if I can find an online copy of my local paper..... one of the front page headlines & story inside on a related story......
Seems one of our 70 year old neighbours thought it would be a good idea to get drunk xmas day & do ringys in his car.....
Police arrested this 'hoon'..... oh so sad.... lmao! charged with drink driving & damage to the road....
Front page reads '70 year old hoon caught' I found this extremly funny.....

My grandpa will need to hand his licence in some time soon... He's not going to want toHe's stubborn, thinks he can drive as well as he ever could. If he's telling the truth, no wonder the road tolls in the 70s were so bloody high.
I think that link came up somewhere in another thread yesterday... Maybe the 170kmh 78yo hoon one. What is it with this spate of 'old' hoons? How awesome would it be if they were the new media targets?A taste of their own medicine (which one?) would be good.
My grandpa will need to hand in his license soon!! I know he gets very cranky with drivers and quite frankly at 80 his age would be taking a toll. Eyesight etc. He has also had two knee reconstructions.
After the family coaxing him out of his Fairlane, he bought a brand new Focus.
Now my Mom and Nan are trying to make him get an even SMALLER car, lol.
My pops pretty cool, he takes his german shepard in the focus to the newsagents every morning..
If you feel he is a danger to himself or other roadusers on the road, do something about it. The life it saves might just be his own!
I'd do it in a heartbeat, but for now, my Nana is still a decent driver, and grandad is ok, besides my pethate of left foot braking. If i feel they can't drive, i'll be reporting them. I'd rather a bus bound grandparent that i can visit, rather than visiting a cemetery.
