please enlighten me to the rules of basket ball

ok i was asked to play basket ball for a team tonight i suck neva played before have no idea what the rules were i got sent off because i got fouled 5 times I HAVE NO IDEA what i did lol wtf hahaha

when u go for the ball do not hack at their arms try and hit the ball,keep one arm up guarding the shot and the other one down at about waist height guarding a drive.

hahah u might wanna watch a couple of minutes of basketball on youtube or something. When defending u wanna try to keep your arms out to the sides and make it harder for them to get around u and to shoot. The idea is to block them, make them work to get around you or to get that shot, don't touch them, make them draw out the charging foul.

How do u get the ball- well u steal it from them if they are being sloppy u can grab the ball from them but u are only allowed to touch the ball, not the player. The idea is to put that much pressure on them that they can't take a decent shot or make a decent pass resulting in a turnover- they only have a limited time to take the shot.

remember this steal with ur feet not with ur hands when u master that u wont get many fouls and will steal the ball more frequently.
hand is part of the ball so if u go to block them when they are shooting and u hit his hand it wont get fouled depends on how good the refs are also----touch the arm foul straight away.
if u are standing still annd i mean still u can draw a charging foul on the oppisition if he hits into u hard enough while dribbling u must be stationary and not shuffle with him or move in his way this will result in u receiving the foul
dont argue with refs because they will fk u the whole game and technical foul or kick u out
dont shoot from far out from the sides of the ring i mean near the inbound line its called the deadzone and takes good practice before u master it try shoot from the side or in the key best options.
once u driblle the ball once u can not grab it again and bounce called a double dribble
u may only take 2 steps while in motion with the ball anymore will result in travelling call
u may use one foot only to pivet on
u have 5 seconds to inbound a ball from the sideline--and 10 seconds to get it over the half way point----once u have crossed ur half u may not go back over it unless the oppositon teals it and then u get it back again when it has crossed again called cross court if ugo back over it
