Just wondering if anyone has any unusual pets? I just recently got myself a southern rock scorpion (Urodacus manicatus).

Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
Some sort of centipede (forget the name, but it's very poisonous so it stays locked up) and a few snakes
weirdest we've had was a bunch of axelotls.
also a goldfish with those bugged out eyes, he was too stupid to figure out how to eat and died a week later from starvation. we named him matt damon

when my fish passes away i am going to convert the tank into a tarantula enclosure! they look fun to have as a pet, the only problem is that i don't know where to buy crickets or other live insects for them to eat yet
I've got a pet wild rat that lives at the back doorhe hides amoung the pot plant pots and thinks he's invisible but he's there most days, he seems to enjoy the shower when I water them
Levy, go into mornington, go to the pet shop just behind the central, and talk to Gav or Alayna... tell them i sent u for things. they'll fix u up. (no perving on alayna either)
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
You realise it's not a plan yeslol. do you feed it? or does it just sit there?
My nan/pop over about 4 years have fed wild King Parrots and Kookaburras and can now hold them and have them feeding off your hand. Went up there for christmas and I had 3 wild King Parrots around me eating out of my hand![]()
I had a pet Pig when I was yuonger. We sold it to be eaten because the neighbours did nothing but complain, but they did like feeding it all there scraps and how it kept there kids entertained lol.
It was a cute pig, it would walk up to you, and you could rub its belly and it would fall over and go stragiht to sleep. It wasnt no little pink pig either, by the end it was bigger then a rottweiler lol.

WARNING SOME PEOPLE MIGHT FIND THIS DISTURBING
Wouldn't be certain that's the one, those are supposed to be found in south america only I think, they are very uncommon and very poisonous. They eat BATS lol. Hang from the roof of a cave and grab them on the way past.
Could be, of course, I just wouldn't have thought it would be one of those.
i've got a freshwater eel that i got when it was about 10 cm long.
it's now almost half a metre long
I dont drink these days. I am allergic to alcohol and drugs. I breakout in handcuffs!
The less people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they'll sleep at night.
Ive got my own Woody (Cockroach) Colony going now, very easy to do, can let you know if you are interested.
Very good forum is aussiepythons.com.au - Reptile terrariums, Reptile supplies, Python forums

^^^Smooth Gecko is a pretty cool looking creature.
Yeah, they do some pretty funny things, like wag there tail, and they do these push up things when you startle them. There feet are like little hands and they way they walk is funny. Also when they are hunting for food at night, they walk around on there tip toes, and when they see something they sit down on there bum like a dog and then pounce.
Really good to watch
Yeah, woodies are easier to breed than crickets. But not everyone likes them. Also they can climb glass which is a bit annoying, but you just put a bit of vasoline or this paint called fluon up top so they cant climb out
But buy a small tub first to see if they like them, i can also put you onto a person that will send out woodies to your door much cheaper than any pet shop.
But for just one scorpion, you wouldnt need a colony or anything.
