    Talking Your shed

My favourite part of the house, this is where all the magic happens... well dreaming. I think ive done well since i havent paid for anything except oils and stuff all benchs, drawers were giveaways and tools i got from government when i did my apprenticeship. So ppl post a pic of your shed

You got your shed for free also?

Inside is still being put together, needs concrete badly. Shed itself was free on the provision i pull it down, move it 30k's down the road and put it up again.
80 odd metres of floor space which i can't wait to fill.

Putting the old kitchen in there and having a dunny plumbed up the back. won't have to leave!

i use the laundry but once the sink is in the shed i can make as much mess as i like. All up the shed was about $1500 to put up, cost was the panel lift door which came with remote and council approval and then little bits and pieces here and there. Cement will be the biggest cost but to have done the shed so cheap it's all good.

as a side note - when i worked in the servo (during uni) they decided we were spending too much time sitting on our arse at the counter and not cleaning enough stuff 100times. So they took the stool.
    We used milk crates.
So they took the milk crates.
So we used slabs of coke.

A win to servo attendants that day.

nice shed/garage 5lt caprice, thats the type of setup i want when i eventualy buy a house, a decent garage or shed that i can put a decent tool box and tools in if i'm still on the tools or bring my tools and tool boxs home and set them up like yours

reminds me of one of my trade school teachers garage setups.

vlv8vic a family friend had a shed same size as yours, awesome size, especialy for parties etc, he had his gt phase3 ho in it and a pool table and fridge, etc, still had room to move

thanks, i have worked for the last 15 years out in the open and now that i have finished paying the home loan i thought stuff it i am getting myself a decent shed. if i did it the right way around i would have bought my hoist first then the shed, because i would have got a shed that had know internal posts.

yeah, i know. first job was the car trailer. the shed was built in late october. since then we did the trailer, 3 fulcken gearboxes, 2 head gaskets(plus 1 atm) freshen up a box trailer and numerous other fidly jobs. currently patching up a hx ute with a stroked 308, problem is it came out of a vb so i am mucking around with wireing and putting part of the vb floor to mount the vb tbar as the linkage is on the other side of the gbox to the hx's.
then hopefully the weekend after this one i can pick up my project car which is a fb ute, i dont know what i am going to run in it but it will probably be a buick v6 as they are cheap. not looking to build a summernats winner. just a clean tidy ute. i am planning on doing everything myself. the only job that i probably wont be able to do is the wireing as i still havent learnt how to read wireing diagrams to work out what wires i need to patch to what but once i but a complete vn/vp i will probably muck with the wireing to see if can work it out.
    Cheers Shane
