    Default Gotta love drink drivers

well at 4am this morning i was still awake playing on the computer then all of a sudden i hear a loud crash bang, i thought wtf, so i ran to my front door to see my neighbours car in my front yard then she reversed out and drove to her house (accross the road) and locked up her car and went and hid inside, so i called police they came out, she admitted doing it and said she will pay for the fence to get fixed, but the police breath tested her and she was over legal limit so she was taken away for dui and hit n run. sorry for dark photos will upload more in the afternoon... well i might go to bed now seeing its 6.31am
also cops estimate damages to fence at $1000.00

Well she made a mess of that. Doesn't matter what they say or do there will always be fools thinking they can drive home drunk. Probably lucky it was just your fence, could've been worse i suppose.

Damn! Thats funny but alsy sucks that it happened.

Do an MS Paint pic of your yard and street (and her house) so we can get an idea of what actually went wrong lol.

I think it's much better the cops were involved. If she'd just knocked on your door and said "sorry I've just hit your fence" and only paid for the fence she'd have dodged the much more serious offense of DUI.

Sounds like she deserves every bit of punishment coming her way.

lol, she might of driven the opposite direction in the street to what she normally does and went to turn into her driveway but she was going the other direction so drove into the fence instead of her driveway,

thats my hypothesis < i used a technical word

That would have made her situation a whole lot simplier. Rather than going back inside her house.

In my old house someone reversed into our front brick fence. They where parked there over night and must off taking off in reverse in the morning and not realised.

Dont know why the park on our front law anyway.

    Gold.

Dumb bitch. Should've owned up to it. Instead of trying to get away with it. Well she got what she deserved.

good outcome i suppose. one less dropkick on the road for a while and despite a little fence damage no one was hurt.

however, if shes dumb enough to DUI then when she loses her ticket she'll keep driving. Make sure you video her doing so. Make the idiots life hell.

I expect she panicked, but it is quite funny, the old "if I can't see them, they can't see me!" mentality

Most do drive again unlicensed, which is why when someone loses their licence, their car they were offending in should be impounded until licence suspension is finished.

excellent idea. that way if it isn't their own car they have a friend or family member with a grudge as well. might actually begin to hit home with some of these tools.

good idea, but if i ever lose my licence (highly unlikely) id rather my car at home so i can mod it as i please etc.

i know of someone who lost their licence for a year, he knew it, but kept driving unlicenced anyways. never got caught because his driving habits changed to avoid any unwanted attention. now with his licence back, he still drives as if he doesnt have his licence. not condoning driving without a licence of course, just thought id share the story haha.

back on topic though, atleast she is gunna pay for the fence. maybe put some solid concrete poles behind your fence for the next time she decides to mow them down. haha

I'd build a moat. More aesthetic, and probably more entertaining

Something I heard about a while ago to stop people ripping up public ovals was spikes that get layed under the turf, harmless to humans but the weight of a car makes them perforate the grass and blow out the tyres, don't think anyone in Aus used it but an interesting idea
