Looking for Holden ad...

Hey guys,

i've been on the youtube watching holden tv ads
...and theres one particular ad i cant seem to find

Its the Storm Ute ad, with ACDC thunderstruck playing in the back ground

If anyone has anyidea, let us know

Damn, i thought i had that ad, looking through my folder i dont. I do have a Maloo ad which never hit the air waves LOL

Actually, i seem to be missing a fair few of my Holden clips! I've only got 2 ads that hit the TV left, both for the LS2 Clubsport. One for the 15 second ad and the other's the 30 second ad! Sorry couldn't help you

Good luck finding it, have been looking for years since I bought mine. Holden have done their damndest to strip all of the newish videos of theirs off the net by the looks of it.

The maloo ad's nothing really special, was a work in progress, just needed Holden details. But that was scratched and i think it was used in shows instead. 30 seconds where there's footage of the maloo on the track (looking like a country road), then a sweep across of the front of the maloo, a spin around of the outside of it via the drivers side from the front to the back, then back on the track, then interior, then about 2 second of the LS2 badge lol

yeh i know the one, people think im mad when i talk about it.

Im also trying to find all my old ads, I had heaps of em, back in black one tonner, are you ready crewman and crewman X8 on mars, thunderstruck SS ute, great southern land adventra, happy man VY SS II, virus attacked the PC which killed em and I cant find my backups

from what i know it was removed as it promoted irresponseable driving
and holdens got told of for promoting it as everyone started doing burn outs in there utes

Australian TV is certainly not as conservative as American TV, however our commercials are for some strange reason. It's illegal to show a car doing over 100km/h in a commercial here, even if it's a sports car driving around a race track, because of course it encourages speeding on public roads... A Holden commercial was banned a little while ago because it showed a Commodore Ute doing donuts in the desert to make Tornados (which was the name of the special edition car) because it 'encourages burnouts on public streets'. Totally acceptable and safe car commercials are banned all the time here, it's insane.

pretty sure today tonight and sa police jumped up in arms about that movie(fast and furious) because they reckon there was a surge of ricers drifting up through the adelaide hills remember seeing it ages ago on the today tonight show

not like they wernt doing it b4 the movie came out anyways.
