maybe im just a bit ****ed off of my phone keys and wallet being stolen from my bad on australia day when im out.
but i called the police to report it and i said they are picking up my phone and talking but not saying where they are and the police said they wont call my phone. and see ****ing ********s

im not sure how you do it but if you own the phone you can trace its location if its operating, (just turned on) contact your provider , i know telstra can do it a friend of mine did the same thing, find the location and go get your phone take a heavy with ya hahahaha crap though mate sorry to hear good luck in finding it. hopefully if you find the phone you'll find the wallet

That'll happen.. you need to keep an eye on your belongings when you go out. If you leave stuff unattended in public you can't be surprised when they get pinched.

Why would the police call your phone? What would that achieve? So they can give the crooks a good talking to?

Mobiles are constantly traced, each time they connect to a base station it's logged, you don't need to ring them to get that info - but I don't think they can't just take that information from the telco's, there are processes to go through, and to be honest, in the scheme of things it's just not worth their time to chase your stolen mobile.

you cant track a mobile phone. only phones that are tracable are the home landlines. mobiles can be traced as far as who the owner is, and what addresse they can see which tower the phone is getting signal from, but thats it, you cant pin-point a mobile phone.


but yeah dude, sure does suck, but there are more important things happening around at the moment than your wallet, phone and keys. so it's pretty selfish to come here and bag out the police. if you can do better than by all means try
