My brother has been giving me live feeds, he was working near here when it happened. Sad sad sad what this world is coming to. Last reports he was told by police after giving his statement was that the girl is in a critical and stable condition.

I am amazed she survived the 58 metre drop, i really hope she can pull through.

This case alone is enough to start the debate on bringing back the death penalty and removing insanty pleas.

i totally agree with you on that one, but unfortuantly its not going to happen. I think that this guy will claim insanity and get away with next to nothing... i think 20 years and regular beatings in jail might do justice

Yeah its a shame there are'nt harsher penaltys,I would support the death penalty for crimes such as this one where theres no dispute who was at fault.

The Offender will hopefully get a lengthy sentence (Not one of the B.S 4-7yr sentences as of late for shocking crimes like Murder).

The sad thing is though he will be kept segregated when locked up most likely in the same division where they house sex offenders & such,hence out of reach of the general population.

Its so sad for the for the girl though,hoping she pulls through.
