what is one car you had in the past that you NEVER wished you lost. (You may not have sold it, it may have been stolen or smashed)
For me it was my VL Calais.
(i checked for previous posts and it looks like this hasnt been asked, if it has, then flame on....)

There is a reason why Commodore is number 1 since 1979. Its the best Aussie car. I loved my VL and I love my VE. I cant help it.
i kinda wish i never sold my first car (vn exec v6, nothing special) but it was quite reliable. shoulda chucked a 5L in it instead of buying one.
l sold a VN exec that was extremely reliable and bought a friggin" Ford Telstar because our daughter had just obtained her P plates and the VN was too powerful for a novice driver.
The Telstar was by far the greatest piece of automotive garboge I have ever owned and after fourteen months, I p****d it off and bought a VR.
I sold the VN for the right reason, but bought the wrong car to replace it, which made selling the VN that much worse.
Probably my VL Calais as well!
Although if i had of kept it then the charger would have taken a back seat, so it was better off going! Anyway once the charger is up 2 scratch i am going to get a Calais turbo for my work/daily or a R33 skyline! Would love 2 use the Charger for a daily but it would kill me in fuel
Edit= the missus can drive the VS:P

For me it would have to be my push bike
Only after I sold it did I realise how much cheaper it was to run![]()
Ill get a few laughs for this one. but i wish a mate(no longer for obvious reasons) wrote my sigma off. It was a limited edition peter werret turbo.
I only had it for 1 week. it was also how i learnt about how important insurance was as i never had any on it.
Was also my first car too.
Between myself and my brother I can make a few people cryHK Monaro, HG GTS Monaro, 2x LX Torana hatcbacks, LJ XU1 replica, GT Capri, VJ Charger, XY GS Falcon, Several V8 HQ-Z's. It's not even nice to think about
Probably nearly a potential half amillion bucks worth of cars there and we are left with is a VP 5 litre and a VS 5 litre:P
Still I can justify it because the fastest car of all those were one of the Torana hatches and the LJ and my VP beat the PB of the LJ last year![]()
for the guy (wild ss) who would have known that those 70's aussie Coupes would go for that much? who could have known? in the 80's you couldnt give em away...
for nanos, find someone on this forum who hasnt made a big mistake at some point in their life, and you are looking at crap artist.
i 'lost' my mint VL calais because i smashed it. 100% my fault. in the wet being a smart azz. to ruin a clapped out rust bucket is one thing, but to throw away a car like that for being a idiot hurts.

I didnt exactly own it, but i had the chance to. My girlfriend at the time, her dad brought her a torana when she was 16. It was sitting in her garage just gathering dust and didnt have an engine or anything. Her dad was gonna drop a 304 in it and do it up for her but in the end he said **** it. She doesnt want it anyway. So he offered it to me for 500 bucks. At the time I knew SFA about cars and didnt take it, I look back now and I kick myself because I would love something like that to play around with on the weekends.
My old VK i regret selling.
Had no luxurys like i have now but it was a tuff little unit.
"If you're going through hell, keep going"
yeah i dont liek to think about it much for obvious reasons
i scooped it up for $4500 back in 98 and a few years after i got rid of it (not going to say how much) the price sky rocketed.
as nice as it was to cruise in it was still a bloody old car and my ss is heaps more fun to drive![]()
Agreed they need to get over the link filter that's bullshit, one of them needs to harden up and undo that first I'm sure the other will follow![]()
I wish i still had my VK Wagon and VL Ute. Both awesome cars, and both sold to fund the never ending international project![]()
