Well I'm going to be in Sydney this weekend for Top Gear Live. Flying there on Friday and returning on Monday. Can anyone recommend things for me to do there to fill the time? What places should I check out?

I'm sure there are a few other JC people making the trip up there for the show, so I wouldn't mind hearing what they have planned.

I'd recommend doing a Bridgeclimb, if you can manage to get a booking. The night time climb is spectacular.

Otherwise, catch a ferry to manly and have lunch or have a look around darling harbour. Or go to some pubs in the rocks.

just thought i would post up after my trip.
ran out of time to do a lot of things. went to a few bars at the harbour, got a quick look at the opera house one night, went to bondi on the saturday which was good. as for your public transport, it has its good and bad points. the service shits all over connex. your trains run on time, double decker trains are a great idea, and the airon always worked. the only bad thing was your ticketing system. connex wins there
